Elaine's 80th!

Elaine's 80th birthday celebration with NAPDA at the Pioneers Cabin is an opportunity to make a difference. Instead of gifts, Elaine has requested donations towards Pioneers Cabin's accessibility improvements, specifically our "heritage" elevator.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 in 2024 to fund this project, with naming rights being awarded to the highest private contributor. Join us in celebrating NAPDA's 130th anniversary by supporting our efforts to improve our services and programming to better support other non-profits in and around Edmonton.

Donations create opportunity

Donations create more opportunity for NAPDA to host community events. We are working hard towards creating an inclusive and multicultural social environment in the heart of Edmonton.  NAPDA, was established in 1894 as a non-profit to preserve history, and create a social club for pioneers away from home. Today, we welcome all people to gather and acknowledge a wholistic view of our history.

Donations in 2024 will be applied directly to creating community events and increasing our inclusivity. Truth and Reconciliation is an important part of that, it is not a checklist, but a shift in our belief's.   If we as a pioneer association can create change, acknowledge our history, and build relationships - we can serve as a catalysts for others.
